Our new Year 7 pupils had a memorable week at St Cuthbert’s Summer School, setting the tone for an amazing journey ahead. The boys enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities inspired by Marcus Rashford’s motivational book, You Are A Champion, of which they all received a copy. Each day focused on the "4 Cs," which the pupils embraced with full dedication.
The week was filled with exciting events. Highlights included:
- playing dodgeball with our Sports Leaders, showcasing their teamwork and sportsmanship
- team-building exercises,
- crafting intricate origami swans, and
- the ever-popular Trade Game, which brought out their creativity and strategic thinking.
This dynamic week not only marked a successful transition into Year 7 but also provided a fantastic start to the summer holidays.
We are thrilled to see our new pupils beginning their St Cuthbert’s journey with such enthusiasm and spirit.
