Co‑curricular life is not an “extra” but an essential part of forming great men.
Rooted in our Catholic mission, these programmes nurture the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, supporting growth beyond the classroom. Through sport, music, service, leadership, and cultural activities, boys develop character, resilience, and a sense of responsibility to others. Inspired by Catholic Social Teaching, our co‑curricular offerings encourage community, stewardship, and the pursuit of personal excellence. In all we do, we aim to shape young men who lead with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to the common good.

There is a varied and vibrant programme of available sports, complemented by rich opportunities in Music, Art and Drama.
Boys are encouraged to discover their talents, develop new skills and express themselves creatively and physically.
Whether participating in team competitions, joining ensembles, exploring visual arts or performing on stage, each activity supports confidence, collaboration and personal growth, contributing meaningfully to the formation of well‑rounded young men.
We also offer the John Paul II Award, our own Fortis Dux leadership award, the Duke of Edinburgh programme, Community Partnerships, and a wide variety of additional activities.
These opportunities encourage service, leadership, resilience and personal responsibility, allowing students to grow in confidence while contributing to the school and wider community.
With such a large and diverse range of options, every young man can find meaningful ways to develop his character and gifts.

Our Home School Agreement requires each boy to take part in at least one co‑curricular activity per week, recognising that regular engagement beyond the classroom strengthens personal development, wellbeing and a sense of belonging.
Weekly participation helps boys build confidence, resilience and teamwork, while also encouraging them to cultivate their gifts in service of others.
This commitment reflects our belief that formation happens not only through academic study but through consistently lived experience.
