School Trip Pupils

Our Year 10 pupils recently took part in another inspiring work experience visit with the Newcastle United Foundation, gaining a valuable insight into careers within the sport and charity sectors.

During the visit, pupils learned about the wide range of roles available beyond playing professional sport, including coaching, community outreach, health and wellbeing programmes, and charity operations. The sessions highlighted how sport can be used as a powerful tool to support and transform local communities.

Pupils had the opportunity to take part in practical activities, hear from experienced staff and ask questions about career pathways, qualifications and the skills needed to succeed in the industry.

The experience provided a real-world perspective on how organisations like the Newcastle United Foundation make a difference, while also opening pupils’ eyes to future opportunities in both sport and the wider charity sector.

A big thank you to the Foundation team for delivering such an engaging and informative day.
