"Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?” He said to them, “Come and you will see.” So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means Christ)."

John 1:38-41

Our website will give you a sense of our school as a community of faith, but there is no substitute for visiting the school and meeting the boys and the staff. We invite you to ‘Come & see’. St Paul teaches us ‘to practice hospitality’(Romans 12:13), and not to neglect ‘to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares’ (Hebrews 13:2). Indeed, St Cuthbert’s own monastic tradition instructs to is ‘to welcome the guest as Christ himself’ (RB 53). Visitors are very welcome to our school.
