St Cuthbert's is celebrating another year of excellent A Level and vocational results, reflecting the hard work, resilience, and dedication of its young men, together with the unwavering commitment of the staff who have supported and guided them throughout their journey.
This year, 30% of all A Level grades were awarded at A or A*, while more than half of all grades achieved were at A to B*. The average A Level grade was B-, demonstrating the consistently strong academic performance of the school's Sixth Form students.
Among the highest achievers, ten students secured at least three grades at A-A*, while 14 students achieved AAB or better, including at least two facilitating subjects. Students also achieved excellent outcomes across vocational qualifications, with 53.5% of grades awarded at Distinction or above, highlighting the breadth of talent and achievement across the year group. These results have enabled students to progress to an impressive range of destinations, including the University of Cambridge, Durham University, and the Royal College of Music, alongside higher level apprenticeships and other exciting pathways.
