On Thursday 22nd September Year 7 pupils enjoyed the opportunity to visit Beamish Living Museum. The boys engaged in a wide range of activities from experiencing a Victorian lesson in the school, to a One Spark session in the chapel learning about the dangers and the science behind mining disasters.
A pupil in 7A2 said 'I enjoyed the Victorian lesson and visiting the town seeing how people used to live.'
Another pupil said 'I am really enjoying the peace of the countryside, I might move to the country when I am older.'
During the trip, the Year 7s behaviour and engagement was exemplary with many members of the public stopping teaching staff to compliment them throughout the day.
