Mission Statement

Mission Statement

The school is committed to encouraging every individual pupil to develop fully with regard to his spiritual, moral, academic and personal qualities. The aim is that the pupils will grow in self-confidence and become responsible and caring members of society at large. This mission requires equality of opportunity and the cooperation of the pupils' families and parishes to foster a Christian atmosphere and to create a Catholic community.

In the execution of our Mission Statement, we look for the school to:

  1. Value the pupils as they come to us, and to build upon the foundations which have been laid by the primary schools;
  2. Continue the development of relations between the school and external agencies, especially the partnership between the school and pupils' families and parishes;
  3. Assist the pupils in their Christian formation in class, liturgy, in prayer and in service;
  4. Foster through their studies the pupils' awareness of the world and the achievements of mankind;
  5. Allow the pupils' development to be such that they may move with ease to their next destination, be it work or further education.
